TiE Young Entrepreneurs Program • TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) Global Program coaches and trains young high school students to become the next generation entrepreneurs. • Seasoned entrepreneurs and mentors teach high school children (grades 9-12) based on a business-focused curriculum. • The TYE program nurtures the creativity, self-confidence, leadership and overall development of the students • The program culminates with global Business Plan Competition for the youth. 

  3. TYE & IWSB • At the Delhi chapter of TiE, IWSB anchored the academic delivery and execution of the program. The deliverables of the TYE program is managed by the Department of Entrepreneurship, IWSB. • With this program (TYE), TiE & IWSB empower our youth to become entrepreneurs by engaging them through a portal of quality educational programs that include instruction and mentoring designed to: • Develop business plan acumen and communication skills • Discover the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship • Nurture to be a well rounded personality • Instill confidence to lead in a global environment

Entrepreneurship In Action • The TYE Delhi chapter hosted 48 bright students • The session began with a prominent entrepreneur, bringing his practical insights into the classroom. • The academic anchors from IWSB, bring the necessary framework to ensure students go back home with the right mix of synthesis • The local business plan competition to select the team for global competition was hosted by IWSB at the Greater Noida Campus • The judges for the competition were: • Mr. Pradeep Gupta, Founder, InfoMedia • Mr. Pranjal Sharma, Executive Editor, Bloomberg UTV • Mr. Satya Narayanan R, Founder, Career Launcher

  5. Business Plan@TYE’11 • Lavacro • The b-plan was to start a laundry service with an aim to set a chain of their stores starting from Delhi NCR and then to become an MNC. Their vision was to revolutionize the laundry experience for the customer. • OnL9Vidya • The team boldly claimed their service as the “Youtube of learning”.  • Doc Ops • The team offers an online forum to provide in class cardiologists where patients could take second advice. • Tapcotts Pvt.Ltd • The plan of this team was to replace textbooks by digitizing its content and then putting the content on the cloud. • Glamon • To launch a website thorough which customers can buy apparel both for men and women. Their usp was to provide 3D view of the apparel that would be popular among the customers.

  6. TYE Global Competition • Final global competition involved 3 continents and was held on April 30th, 2011 at Raleigh, North Carolina. • The program is held in 9 cities around the world – Atlanta, Boston, Carolinas, Seattle, San Diego and Austin, London, Delhi and Jaipur. • The winners:1. TYE Austin and TyE Carolinas2. TYE Boston3. TYE Delhi
