Strategies for Following This Presentation • You should allow yourself at least one hour to complete this presentation. • Please be prepared to take notes, as you will be tested on the information contained on the slides which follow. • Please feel free to move backward in the presentation if there is a slide which you wish to review.

  3. Getting Around in PowerPoint • You may click your left mouse button or press the <Page Down> key on your keyboard to move forward in the slide presentation. • Pressing the <Page Up> key will move you backward through the presentation one slide at a time. • Press <Alt + F4> keys to exit.

  4. Ready to Get Started? Before you will be allowed to access actual patient information in eKiDs PowerChart, there are a few steps you must take: • View this presentation and take the on-line competency. • If you did not do so during your orientation, you will need to sign the Information Services’ Systems Access and Confidentiality agreement. • A passing score of 80% will notify Information Services to activate your PowerChart Security.
