  2. Placement • Maramures is located on the north west of Romania. • Maramures is also part of the border with Ukraine. Maramures Is here

  3. Temperature. • Maramures is in the north of Romania this causes low temperature in winter reaching up to -10 Celsius, and warm temperature in summer reaching up to 28 Celsius summer winter

  4. how to get there. • By airplane:1 hour and 25 minutes. • By car: 8 hours and 7 minutes. • 2nd route by car: 7 hours 36 minutes. • Walking: 108 hours.

  5. Culture. • Maramures is a place where they keep the old Romanian traditions. • People in Maramures still were the old Romanian costumes. Fun Fact: People in Maramures still sing old folk songs in festivals. Wearing their national costume. Men’s costume Women’s costume

  6. Monuments and Parks. • Valea Izei (which contains on of the biggest river in Maramures. • Viseu De Sus. This place is growing technically and culturally • Art museum: Baia Mare(school paintings collection) • Painter colony: located in Baia Mara
