  3. The journey begins on Ash WednesdayThe ashes are made from the blessed palms used in the Palm Sunday celebration of the previous year.

  4. During the 6 weeks of Lent people will often Pray

  5. Giving something up

  6. Being kind to others

  7. These are the special things people try to do at lent: • Prayer • Fasting • Almsgiving

  8. Sometimes we can’t do the things we would like to do During Lent we have to be Patient………… What does that mean?

  9. During Lent, people have to be Patient and keeping trying!

It celebrates his last supper with the disciples, a celebration of Passover ... On Good Friday, each member of the Church tries to understand at what cost Christ has won our redemption. Easter is the most important feast of the ecclesiastical year.
