Draft Producer Responsibility Obligations (Packaging Waste) (Amendment) Regs 2012
The draft statutory instrument:If in the preceding yr the producer handled any glass ( as pkg or pkg materials), they shall recycle by re-melt calculated as follows: - L x B x W = G L = to the nearest tonne glass handled in Great Britain by the producer in the preceding year; B = % prescribed in para 4 in relation to the class of producer [raw materials, converter, pack/fill and seller proportionate obligation]; W = % prescribed in para 6A as re-melt target for the relevant yr [ 63% from 2013 to 2014 inclusive, and 64% in 2016 and 2017 ]; G = producer target for remelt in the relevant year.
