  2. PowerPoint 2008 The small village Uddebo is a part of the commune Tranemo that can be found in tge southern part of Sweden. By the road a old yellow house is falling a part. A group of hippies is now trying to save the house in order to create a culture center.

  3. Exept from turning the old house in to a culture center they’re also trying to get people to move to the village. They’re achieving this through the yellow house and the spirit of togetherness the project is creating. In Uddebo has about 250 habitants but the hippies have a big dream of making the village the center of attention.

  4. Gula Huset Tranemo has a reputation for being a good friend of sports. The society was founded on the industrial reform and the a vast majority of the jobs offered are on the factories. Tranemo shares the same vision of getting more people to move in to commune due to the large emmigration that has been going on the last 10 years. Tranemo has an population of 10.000.

  5. Gula Huset Will the hippies manage to get more people to move in to the village and how will they get accepted by Tranemo? Is the yellow house ever to be completed? Main Theme “To do the impossible” Consept Toogetherness can conquer sceptisism

  6. Picture This… The documentary will be shot hand held with a Sony DSL450. The camerawork will be vivid and breathing. The camera looks from a distance,as an observer in the same time it moves within the characters as it would be invisible. The characters are aware of the director that asks questions as an observer behind the camera

  7. The Music will be composed by the sound designer and every character will have their own tune. Often the characters have played some kind of instrument by them selves that works as an basic core sound of their specific song. The idea is that every time a character is in focus, their “theme” will be playing in the background. Music

  8. Gula Huset The yellow house will work as one of the main characters. It’s around the yellow house all the characters meet and hang out. The house brings warm feelings but also hard work and situations that stresses the people around it. The progress of the house represents the progress of the people’s dreams.

  9. Caroline Bergman Caroline is one of the initiator of the yellow house project. She a young talanted mother of three that makes sure that everything goes at it supposed. Without Caronline the house would be demolished by now. On her spare time wokring as an estate agent. This she does without any commission in order to get people moving in the village.

  10. Claes Blixt Claes Blixt is the guy with all the crazy ideas. He wants to make an small hotel in a tree outside the yellow house and he wants to brake world records, build electric chairs for dogs and a lot more. Even though he seems a bit out of control he’s a great friend and really skilled craftsman. He works as a woodshop teacher in a grammar school in Uddebo

  11. Erik Hårdstedt Erik is one of the artists that recently moved to Uddebo. He takes more passion in painting that renovating but he tries his best to make a mends.

  12. The Art Collective “M.F.” The art collective “m.f.” is a group of four friends that have been moving around the world individually. Every time they meet up the create art. They met up in Uddebo and decides to make an installation in the yellow house. Now Johannes, Emilia and Linnea is considering staying. Johannes and Linnea is going to have a child and Emilia is getting a dog. Alex the forth and last member of the art collective is going to move back to finland.

  13. Alex Alex is the character that brings us to Uddebo and the Yellow house. Alex’s from Nykarleby, Finland and finds out about the yellow house in Sweden. She decides to hitchhike all the way down the 1000km to Uddebo.

  14. Tranemo The commune works as the antagonist in the documentary. Tranemo doesn’t see how a bunch of hippies will solve the emigrational problem they’re suffering from. The commune will be represented by people from the towns council and the factories.

  15. Berra Berra is the spokesperson for the sport. He has been living for the sport ever sense he was young. He passion for sport equivalent to Caroline’s passion for the yellow house. With a bad heart and closing 60 he’s facing his retirement but will he be able to let it all go? Berra thinks that the hippies and the yellow house is something the society could live without.
