This is useful, as people don’t “waste their time” on articles that don’t interest them – they only get informed about what does interest them.

  3. News articles from around the world can all be accessed from one place – there is no need to switch between multiple websites to get news from different countries.

  4. It’s free, unlike buying newspapers which can cost.

  5. There is no limit to how many articles one can read. With newspapers, people can only read the articles contained within the newspaper.

  6. Newspapers cannot update themselves, because they are physical, so if a story has had some advantages, people will have to wait for, and but the next issue to learn about it. When an article is online, it can be updated automatically, so all updates are instant and there is no need to wait for these to be put in place.
