  2. 2005-WS on FishFrame Baltic Sea RCM NS and RCM Baltic both strongly support the use of FishFrame and recomments: RCM North Sea recommends that all countries having data on NS cod participate in the proposed workshop on FishFrame (Chair: Henrik Degel, mid-January 2006, Copenhagen, Denmark). RCM North Sea expects that all labs having data on NS cod for 2004 and 2005 upload these in FishFrame in order to be able to compare the CANUMs, WECAs etc. compiled by FishFrame and national compiled data and to perform some analysis on the data prior to the WGNSSK. RCM North Sea recommended that data are submitted to FishFrame, starting with the 2004 and 2005 data for North Sea cod before 1 May 2006.

  6. 2005-WS on FishFrame Baltic Sea Why develop different versions of FishFrame? • The ”North Sea people” wants it. • Standard formats for data facilitates analysis across regions. • All regions will benefit from reports and analysis developed for one region. • Having the same possibility for checking and scrutiny of data will hopefully increase the quality of data in all regions. • It is our hope that a common possibilities will facilitate increased cooperation between regions.
