Option 1: Stop Subscribing to Land Line And Keep our old Phone Number It’d be nice if we could merely transfer our old number to Google Voice … but Google Voice isn’t presently able to receive a transferred Land Line number. Take the Long Way Around Purchase a “throw-away” cell phone that includes some minutes ... ~ $15 - $20. PORT (Transfer) old number from land line provider to our new cell phone .. $Varys PORT our old number from our new cell phone to Google Voice … $20.00 The Outcome: • Our old familiar number is now our Google Voice/OBi number. • Our old Land Line no longer works. • Our new cell phone no longer works. • We continue to get Robo calls, etc. • We spent $35.00 to $50.00
