  2. Purpose of “THE DESCENT” • The film is for entertainment to please to masses with mite watch the film. • The second money, money back for making the film. • Branding, if it being your own company or other company's like BMW. • It’s not educational it’s all about scaring you.

  3. Narrative • Prologue/Equilibrium the time in the raft on the raging river; This is where a whole of Todorov idea of a film in that short time. • Equilibrium: is them in the raft having fun. • Disruption: pipes go through rest of families killing them. • Recognition: here waking up in the hospital alone. • Reaction: crying. • Restoration: go to the cave.

  4. Equilibrium: they go caving. • Disruption: tunnel calipees. • Recognition: knowing there were in the wrong cave. • Recognition: cave creatures is seen. • Reaction: scream and freak out. • Restoration: main character escapes(or does she) 2. The creators of the cave.

  5. Genre: HORROR This film is obviously a horror as there the typical isolation from the out side world(no escape), a creature no ones seen before and the 5 key ingrediance for the typical horror film.

  6. Form: Film This film hasn’t got another content the be an on going TV show and the radio won't have the gore or the shock of the film is would lose it’s flare.

  7. Style The story's narrative is repeated 3 times on this narrative sequence: Prologue,Equilibrium, Disruption, Recognition,Reaction, Restoration.
