  2. Comparing Grace to a Zulu healer • Women usually take the job of a Zulu healer. • Grace is a woman, like common Zulu healers.

  3. Can Zulu healers predict the future? • Sometimes the insagoma, or healer can predict the future. • Grace predicted the future of Martine and her parents.

  4. How in the world do Zulu healers predict the future?! • To predict the future, Zulu healers throw bones. • Grace threw small bones, porcupine quills, guinea fowl feathers, and a couple of elephant hairs to help Martine find the White Giraffe.

  5. Do Zulu healers recover stolen goods? • Insagomasare expected to recover stolen goods. • Martine and her Grandma went to Grace for her help to find out where the poachers had taken the White Giraffe. In the end they found the White Giraffe.

  6. Who do Zulu healers work with? • They usually work alone but, sometimes with a medicine man. • Grace works alone like most Zulu healers.
