  2. Creation of a National Earth Observation Network (RNOT) both from airborne and satellite platforms. RNOT is integrated by researchers affiliated to various public bodies and as organizations and companies in the field of remote sensing s.l. The network aims to create a link between research conducted in public research institutions (Universities, CSIC, research centers, etc) and applications made ​​by the private sector. Activities under this proposal will be part of the program of action of the Spanish Association of Remote Sensing (AET), which is the reference professional society in the country on issues of Earth Observation. General aims

Specific Aims • To promote the development of remote sensing applied to real problems on different societal areas. • To establish clear communication between sectors of research and business so that both groups can be benefitted and complemented. • Encourage the employment of young researchers who wish develop a career in the corporate sector.
