Program Results • Completed 39 Irrigation Projects, with 50 more projects in various phases of implementation

Program Results • Increased average corn production from 1.93 MT/ha. in 1995 to 2.95 MT/ha. in 1999.

Overall Results • Increase in income of farmers by 20% to 69% depending on the kind of livelihood assistance provided by the program • Increase in total rice production from 222,000 MT in 1995 to 344,444 MT in 1999 • Reduction of Malnutrition from 13.62% prevalence rate of underweight pre-school children in 1995 to 9.11% by the end of 1999
