Enjoying the Feel of Living with Laminate Flooring

Earlier I swore that a carpeted floor is the best thing and later on realised how wrong I was once my kids started their pranks and to add to it, we brought in a pet Pomeranian. That saw the end of my carpet and it was endless cleaning and scrubbing. I now am feeling very happy with my new laminate flooring and I just love it.

Enjoying the Feel of Living with Laminate Flooring Earlier I swore that a carpeted floor is the best thing and later on realised how wrong I was once my kids started their pranks and to add to it, we brought in a pet Pomeranian. That saw the end of my carpet and it was endless cleaning and scrubbing. I now am feeling very happy with my new laminate flooring and I just love it. Laminate floors are durable Though carpets do look good, but they are not apt for all rooms in the house. Rooms that have a lot of traffic by pets and kids should definitely have laminate floors. Carpet in the adult bedroom makes sense but for the kids’ room surely flooring for children’s room should be laminate so that kids can have their freedom and play without fear of damaging the carpet. Don’t worry about how the floor is inthe kids’ room, as these laminate floors are used to a lot of wear and tear and they last for a decade or more. Stains from mud or shoes can easily be wiped off leaving the floor as good as new once again. You don’t have to use vacuum cleaners or any other steam machines etc. to remove a juice stain. Laminate floors are just ‘wipe and move on’ kind of stuff that suits all busy parents. Pets, kids and laminate flooring However, though I have the entire home with laminate floors I spite of having a pet and two kids running around and spilling, I still feel happy about it. I just took a look around and changed the living room wallpaper to match the floors.

  2. However, I must admit that since the laminate floor surfaces are hard, standing on it bare feet for long may not feel quite comfortable, unlike the carpet that offers cushioning for the feet. But at the same time, if you wear a comfortable pair of house shoes that offers cushioned soles, you are perfectly comforted.
