Basic Food Outreach Forum (BFOF) • This is a platform for King County agencies who enroll clients in the Basic Food (food stamps) program to meet and network • Discuss common issues and strategies to promote Basic Food enrollment. • We meet quarterly and partner with DSHS staff to bring you up to date information on Basic Food related topics.

  6. Working with Seniors: Icebreaker & Introductions • Break into groups of 5 • Take a couple minutes to for everyone to introduce themselves and share which organization you’re from. Take 10 minutes to discuss the following two topics: • What kind of challenges have you faced with getting seniors interested in Basic Food? • What barriers do you see in your community that keep seniors from accessing adequate nutrition? Select 3 key issues you identified together to share with the larger group
