  2. In the three decades since the term medical informatics” was first used, individuals working at the intersection of information technology (IT) and medicine have developed and evaluated computer applications aiming to improve health and health care. Progression of medical technology

  3. Technology has undoubtedly changed every aspect of our lives, especially over the last two hundred years, and in no industry is that more evident than the field of medicine. For thousands of years, people have been tinkering, designing, and exploring in an attempt to unlock the mysteries and complexities of the human body. Over time, machines began to play a larger role in medicine, as innovators developed new and better ways to diagnose and treat injuries and illnesses Progression of medical technology

  4. X –Rays: invented by Wilhelm Conrad Rontgen. The short wave lengths that X-rays have enable them to penetrate thick matter and the black, white and grey 2D images they produce are the result of varying rates of absorption of different tissues. X- Ray

  5. stethoscope was invented by inventor René Laennec . His initial interpretation consisted of a wooden tube, with a wide and narrow end and was similar to hearing aids of that time.   7. Technology has progressed over the years for the better. The lives that have been changed and saved now compared to the lives 3 decades ago is a huge percentage. Everyday people are coming up with new ways to make the medical field even more advanced that it already is.
