  2. The court case is about a man by the name of Ray Buckey accused of molesting children. • The first allegations were brought by Judy Johnson, who suspected that her two and a half year old son was being abused.

  3. Judy Johnson - mother of the child allegedly molested by Ray Buckey. • She claimed that Ray Bucky's mother was involved in Satanic practices. • Judy was diagnosed with schizophrenia.

  4. The crimes occurred at McMartin Preschool located in Manhattan Beach, California. • Buckey was arrested on September 7, 1983. • He was held for about five years and went through two trials.

  5. The case resulted in no convictions. • Many homes and jobs were lost during the trial, and it also resulted in emotional scars for everyone involved.

  6. The case was most expensive trial in American history. • The government spent approximately $15 million on the court case.
