My Heritage • My Heritage is Puerto Rican. • Both of my parents and my self where born and raised there. I have lived in PR till the age of 8 & then moved to California. • Both of my parents side live in Puerto Rico.
The original Homes of my ancestors ? • My ancestors are originally from Puerto Ricans but they were Native Americans.
Did I live there for a while ? • I was born & raised in Puerto Rico. • Then at the age of 8 I move to Compton, California.
Puerto Rico’s Location & Size. • Puerto Rico is an island between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. • The island lies east of the Dominican Republic. • With an area of 9,104 square kilometers (3,515 square miles). • Puerto Rico is almost 3 times the size of the state of Rhode Island.
Language Puerto Rico has a Spanish language & dialect.
Special Holidays • They have a holiday in the beginning of January called, “The Three Kings.”
Food • Plantains. • Rice with beans and roast pork. • Stewed Beef. • Rice with Pigeon Peas.
