  1. Carbon Polarimeter Study The purpose of the study was to use the carbon targets and polarimeter detector system to measure the beam profile and emittance to compare and validate the IPM and cross section based emittance values.

  2. Beam Characteristics Deuteron beam only Beam at Injection Energy Single Bunch Target Scan mode, 1 second measurement at 10-20 positions separated by ~500 microns. Detector bias voltage: 90 volts

  3. No reliable IPM result to compare with Vertical Target #5 sixth try

  4. Beam Emittance Emittance (p mm-mr) Time of scan measurement

  5. Beam Profile Beam width (sigma, in mm) Time of scan measurement

  6. Work to do • Things look good now, but we need more APEX time to set the timing of the DAQ correctly. • Measure from 1 to 20 to 95 bunches. • Measure emittance at store. • Combine emittance measurements with IPM on the same beam.
