  1. About Me • Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of British Columbia in 2010. • Will graduate from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, Ontario in 2014. • Avid tennis player, golfer, and all-round sports enthusiast. • As head camp instructor, I am putting together an entirely new camp book for 2012. I am also preparing in-depth lesson plans for the camp’s ESL classes.

  2. About Camp Yes to Kids (Y2K) • 1999 • 2012 • With its first season in 1999, Y2K is now entering its 13th season of operation.

  3. Camp Y2KEmphasizes Linguistic and Cultural Immersion • As anyone who has tried to learn a foreign language will tell you, there are two keys to learning a language efficiently and effectively. • First, learn from a nativespeaker. • All of Y2K’s instructors are native English speakers from Canada. • Second, immerse yourself in the language and the culture. • At Camp Y2K, we immerse the students in Canadian culture, serving Canadian food and encouraging the children to speak in English for all activities and only to use their native language if they absolutely must.

  4. What Camp Y2K Offers • There are only 3 rules at Camp Y2K 1) Safety First 2) English 3) Fun!

  5. Camp Y2K Offers… • A place for kids to experience and enjoy nature in a safe environment.
