  1. Grace Episcopal Church The Good Sheppard Campaign The Good Shepherd Campaign Preserving the Gifts of Our Ancestors and Continuing the Legacy Restoration and Renovation Of Grace Church

  2. Grace Episcopal Church was founded in 1851 on its current site on South McDuffie Street in Anderson. The current Main Worship Building dates from 1903. The majority of the other church buildings are at least 50 years old. While building projects since 2000 have resultedin a new organ, sacristy and cloister, many of the Church buildings have remained untouched for years and are in need of restoration, renovation and additions.

  3. The Good Shepherd Campaign The Good Shepherd Campaign is the fruition of several years of work for the Vestries and parishioners. The following priorities have been identified: • Renovation to buildings • Complete restoration of stained glass windows • Expansion of functional space

  4. The Good Shepherd Campaign Renovation to Buildings Needed work includes resurfacing of flat roofs (Parish Hall, Office and Classrooms), replacement of aging heating and air conditioning system (Church, Office, Parish Hall); repair and waterproofing brickwork by the Choir area and Sacristy. Cost: $100,000

  5. Water Damage due to exposure and rot

  6. The Good Shepherd Campaign Complete Restoration of Stained Glass Windows The Good Shepherd windows (3) circa 1851 behind the altar were saved from the original Church that burned in 1890. The Gadsden window and the back and side windows were purchased for the new building in 1904. All the windows are treasures of our historical church building and are in dire need of restoration.
