  6. Boys Season in Review • 15 Boys - 5 seniors, 3 juniors, 3 sophs & 4 frosh. • 4 Top 10 lists - 40 slots, 15 changes. • 4-5 in Kingco meets. • Kingco Leagues - 5th place. • Return to Districts. 4 of 6 years in Kingco • SeaKing Districts – 11th place CHS XC

  15. Cody Chappell • First year runner as a freshman. • Earned his first Varsity letter. • Almost broke Frosh record at Sunfair. • Fastest race – Kingco’s 18:54 – 6:06 pace. • What to be in 2003 – A solid member of our top 5. CHS XC

Kelly Ramirez • Earned her fourth Varsity letter. • First in all six Top 10 lists. • 2nd place - Kingco, 3rd Time All-Kingco. • 2nd place – SeaKing, 2nd Time All-SeaKing. • 8th place – State, 2nd Time All-State. Border Clash qualifier. • Fastest race – Kingco – 18:52, 6:05 pace. • What McDowell will miss – Everything CHS XC

Top 10 things we will miss about our gravel “track”. • #10: No more running to the fire hydrant. • #9: No more stepping over the red barrier at top speed. • #8: No more running through car ruts. • #7: No more having to turn using right angles. • #6: No more explaining to rookies where the intervals start and stop.
