  4. Company Background Orient Star has been in the industry for over 20 years. We have the know-how, experience and reputation. Potential Volume Orient Star has a substantial Minimum Quantity Commitment per year FMC License and MOC License Orient Star is a FMC (Federal Maritime Committee) Licensed and MOC (Ministry of Commerce) Licensed freight forwarder. Automated Manifest Filing (AMS Filing) Orient Star had obtained the Type II and III International Carrier Bond in February 2003. We have started filing manifests for port shipments since the Custom’s implementation of the 24-Hour Advance Manifest Rule.

  8. Orient Star Sales Team Sales Team Every Orient Star office has its own Sales and Customer Service Team. Their duties are to follow up with sales leads, sales call and make customer visits. Indoor Sales Program Orient Star has introduced an Indoor Sales Program this year. This is a two way sales approach for increasing customer base. We get shippers’ contact from routing orders. From them, we get freehand cargoes and try to obtain consignee information for other nomination business. Feedback of this program has been very positive.

Warehousing and Distribution • We contract storage and distribution in modern secured warehouse facilities. • Computerized warehousing procedures are developed to meet specific customer requirements. • We also offer complete labeling and bar coding services.
