  1. Different Check-in Options you Get While Booking JetBlue Airlines Low-cost carrier JetBlue has its main office in Long Island City in the United States. Despite having its corporate headquarters in Cottonwood Heights, Utah, the airline still uses John F. Kennedy Airport as its primary operating base. Currently, the airline offers service to more than 84 locations in 24 states and 12 nations in the Caribbean, South America, and Latin America. All the services on JetBlue are made easier for the convenience of passengers. For instance, while making Jetblue Airlines flight Booking, you get several options to do check-in which include online check-in to airport counter check-in to remote check-in. There are certain time limits for every available option which you will be getting to know right away in this post. 1. Online check-in Online check-in is available beginning 24 hours before departure, but not after the flight's check-in cutoff time. Only if your reservation has been confirmed is online check-in possible. For

  2. travelers who must check in at the Full-Service counter, online check-in is not possible (who have requested additional assistance upon check-in, who have purchased an extra seat, a group reservation of 10 or more passengers, unaccompanied Minors, etc). You must start Online Check-in by entering your first and last name, the city from which you are departing, the confirmation code, or flight number. Members of TrueBlue, however, may use their TrueBlue number instead of the flight number or confirmation code. If there are no seats left to choose from when checking in, the only seats left must be assigned at the airport. You also have the option to assign/change seats during the online check-in process, as well as to check bags and pay additional baggage fees for up to 9 bags per passenger. The number of checked bags for each passenger must be entered, and the boarding pass will also show the bag tag numbers. At the airport, go to the designated bag drop area where a JetBlue crew member will print your bag tags. 2. Smartphone check-in You can check in for flights using your smartphone by visiting the JetBlue Airways mobile website at mobile.jetblue.com or by downloading the JetBlue app (Android, iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch). Within 24 hours of the scheduled departure, you can check-in using a mobile device. With mobile check-in, you can obtain a mobile boarding pass, a two-dimensional barcode that is encrypted and contains customer and flight details and can be scanned by TSA security personnel. All U.S. domestic airports and a few international airports accept mobile boarding passes. Per smartphone, one boarding pass can be used. If you are unable to utilize your mobile boarding pass, you can reprint it at a kiosk or ask a JetBlue crew member for help.

  3. 3. Check-in at the airport ticket counter When checking in at the JetBlue Airlines tickets counter, check- in times vary by airport. More than 4 hours before the flight's scheduled departure time is too early to check-in for a JetBlue flight. Check-in at the ticket counter is required for the following travelers: Traveling passengers that have a service animal or a pet. A group of at least 10 passengers flying on a shared reservation. Unaccompanied Minors Passengers who checked in and asked for more assistance. People who have purchased additional seats for themselves. Without a confirmed reservation, walk-in clients. Cubans on a flight to or from that country. 4. Remote check-in Due to a collaboration between JetBlue and BAGS Inc., a specialized airline service provider, travelers can now check-in at hotels, convention centers, parking lots or rental car lots, and cruise ship terminals in an increasing number of cities. At a JetBlue Remote Check-in station, you can check-in and leave your bags at least two hours before your flight. Depending on the region, the service fee varies from $0 to $20. The Remote Check-

  4. in Program has been expanded to include onboard cruise ship check-in, and JetBlue now serves San Diego International Airport (SAN), Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport (FLL), and Orlando International Airport (MCO). Last note: All Jetblue Airlines provide pre-boarding for passengers who require assistance while boarding. Printing your boarding pass before you go to the airport, using the JetBlue mobile app to receive a mobile boarding pass, or using the reprint feature at a self-service kiosk are all available options for you.
