Wellness Week Challenges C.A.T.C.H. Challenges for Wellness Week February 22-26, 2010 • Middle School: The PE teacher will give the all students their challenge sheet. • Elementary: The challenge sheets will be sent home with each student on Monday. • Signature: Parents need to verify completion of the challenge with their signature and cut that challenge off the page. • Daily Drawing: Students need to return each day’s challenge strip to the box in the front foyer when they arrive at school each day.
Weekly Challenges • MOVIN’ Monday - do sit ups during all TV commercials or before bedtime. • TASTY Tuesday - try a new food at home. • WORKOUT Wednesday - do push ups during all TV commercials or before bedtime. • THIRSTY Thursday - drink water with after school snack and dinner. • FRUITY Friday - bring a piece of fruit to school for lunch/snack.
Movin’ Monday • MOVIN’ Monday - Do sit ups during all TV commercials or before bedtime. • Record how many sit ups you do on your challenge sheet and have someone in your home sign it for verification. • Return it to the box in the front foyer to be entered in the sports ball drawing.
Tasty Tuesday • TASTY Tuesday - Try a new food today. • Record what that new food was on your challenge sheet and have someone in your home sign it for verification. • Return it to the box in the front foyer to be entered in the sports ball drawing.
Workout Wednesday • WORKOUT Wednesday - Do push ups during all TV commercials or before bedtime. • Record how many push ups you do on your challenge sheet and have someone in your home sign it for verification. • Return it to the box in the front foyer to be entered in the sports ball drawing.
Thirsty Thursday • THIRSTY Thursday – Commit to drinking water instead of sodas or other drinks. • Record how many glasses of water you drink on your challenge sheet and have someone in your home sign it for verification. • Return it to the box in the front foyer to be entered in the sports ball drawing.
Fruity Friday • FRUITY Friday - Bring a piece of fruit to school for lunch/snack. • Record what fruit you brought on your challenge sheet and have someone in your home sign it for verification • Return it to the box in the front foyer to be entered in the sports ball drawing.
