  1. Annually, abut 600,000 to 800,000 people-mostly women and children-are trafficked across national borders which does not count millions trafficked within their own countries.

  2. Almost 80 percent victims of human trafficking are female and around 70 percent of them are sexually exploited in the film industries, advertising industries, fashion industries and private organizations.

  3. Every year 1.2 million children are trafficked by different agents.
