On Sept 4 2008 (MJD 54713), Fermi sees a flare from EGRET source 3EG 1500-3509 (FSRQ, z=1.42). No X-ray information from this time. PKS 1454-354. Fermi reports brightening on Sept 26 2008 (MJD 54735) and a strong flare on Oct 14 2008 (MJD 54753), also seen in the optical with GASP. AO 0235+16.

  1. On Sept 4 2008 (MJD 54713), Fermi sees a flare from EGRET source 3EG 1500-3509 (FSRQ, z=1.42). No X-ray information from this time. PKS 1454-354

  2. Fermi reports brightening on Sept 26 2008 (MJD 54735) and a strong flare on Oct 14 2008 (MJD 54753), also seen in the optical with GASP. AO 0235+16

  3. Fermi sees two peaks, one peaking around 1.6e-6 photons/s/cm^2 from Nov 20 – Dec 2 2008 (MJD 54790-54802) and another peaking at 2e-6 photons/s/cm^2 Feb 19-24 2009 (MJD 54881-54886). 3C 279

  4. During the period: Aug 22-26 2008 (54700-54704), Swift and Konus-Wind report 54 GRB triggers from the object during this time range, the brightest bursts are reported to be in the kiloCrab flux range (BAT energy range 15-50 keV), full list of bursts is in Astronomer's Telegram 1683. SGR 0501+4516

  5. Markarian 421 had two outbursts in the middle of 2008 seen with IACTs, the first at the beginning of May (Apr 30 -May 3), both Whipple and VERITAS see the flare, without much response from X-ray sattelites. VERITAS/Whipple information has not been published yet, and is not meant for outside viewing. Markarian 421

  6. The Second Mrk 421 flare, in June, is also seen with IACTs, though the TeV peak is ~half as large as the May flare. This flare also sees an X-ray peak some days after the TeV. June 5 2008 (MJD 54622) – TeV peak June 11-12 (MJD 54628-9) – X-ray peak Markarian 421

  7. Fermi sees 3 flares of increasing magnitude: Sept. 27 2008 (MJD ~54735)‏ Oct. 1-11 2008 (54840-54850)‏ Mar. 10-20 2009 (54900-54910)‏ Which don't show up in X-ray. Could be interesting to use the Fermi lightcurve as an emission Pdf. PKS 1510-089

  8. 3C 454.3 was seen by Fermi to be in a high state in July 2008, prompting MWL measurements. Here the period from Aug 12 – Sept. 21 2008 (54690-54730) looks interesting, especially that the shape of the Fermi LAT lightcurve is followed by the IR/Optical/UV measurements. AGILE GRID also has two earlier Astronomer's Telegram reports of high flux E>100MeV, on May 27 2008 (Atel 1545) and June 26 2008 (Atel 1592). 3C 454.3

  9. There are a few flares we have alerts for, but are waiting for more information to come available: S5 0716+714 April 22-24 2008 seen with MAGIC and Swift XRT W Comae June 9 to 15 2008 seen with VERITAS and AGILE GRID 3C 66A Oct 1-3 Seen with Fermi, VERITAS and optical Additional Flares
