Community-Engaged Partnership Database: A New Tool for Making Connections
Community-Engaged Partnership Database: VCU’s Commitment to Community Engagement Community Engagement has been a key component of VCU’s strategic planning for years, codified in the 2011 Quest for Distinction and continuing with the recently unveiled Quest 2025: Together We Transform.
Community-Engaged Partnership Database: The Importance of Partnership The Division of Community Engagement is committed to developing and sustaining high-quality university-community partnerships as a key component of its sustained community engagement effort. Doing so requires knowing who our community partners are as well as the faculty & staff members who commit themselves to this work. The Partnership Database endeavors to be THE repository of this kind of information.
Community-Engaged Partnership Database: Building a Network • The Partnership Database establishes a network of interconnected entities. Once a partnership record is created, an infinite number of partners or faculty can be associated with it. • BENEFITS • Use network to identify areas of shared interests. • Connect with and learn from others doing similar work. • Strengthen and support grant requests, annual reports, accreditations, and recognitions. • Leverage data to create an environment that supports student & faculty success.
