Patterns that occur in diagonals of regular polygons • Aim: to find a pattern that occurs in diagonals of regular polygons • Method: to do this, I will draw 5 regular polygons within a powerpoint file. I will then draw the diagonals for these polygons. Finally, I will count the diagonals and try to indentify the pattern.

  5. Conclusion • I was able to predict the diagonals in an octagon because I realized that you just have to add the numbers 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 … Diagonals pattern example for ppt.xlsx
