MP3’s Non-Paying Site’s Do you pay for your music? By: Josh Vincent Class: BTT10
What is Non-Paying Sites? • A non-paying site is a website on the internet to where you can get free MP3 files • A MP3 file is what you here on IPods, MP3 Players, and CD’s • MP3 files are files in which you can listen to music on • MP3’s non-paying site is an easy way to get free music • People often use this to get all their music …But the real question is… …would you use a non-paying site for free music?
In a complete oddness, 70% of the results have downloaded from a non-paying site • From this, I assume that everyone has answered truthfully • This leads me to think that 70% of the world would use a non-paying site to download MP3’s • Although this is out of ten people, they were selected randomly, so if I were to do this to ten other people, I would expect the same results
Summary • In my surprise, more people do use non-paying sites to get MP3 files than people who don’t… • …BUT in the future, some people say that they will not use non-paying sites again, originally saying that they have used non-paying sites • In Grade Nine, there are now more people 15 than 14
Conclusion In conclusion, I can assume that more people in the world do use non-paying sites than people who don’t. With this said, I can also assume that this only comes from Grade Nines. This leads me to think that there is more Grade Nines who are 15 then 14. For those who use non-paying sites, they are cheap and money is not going back to the artist who wrote the song. Ways to stop this is to close down the sites, because based on this survey, 60% of the people will continue to use non-paying sites.
