How to meet the Standards • Online Profile must be completed 9 observations 24 meetings Relevant CPD completed and recorded Three reports: Early Progress Report (October) Interim Report (December) Final Report (May)
Meetings • Meetings will be either one to one or in a group. One to one meetings usually follow on from an observation and should be recorded on your profile. Group meetings (known as Share and Share Alike) often take place in a school to allow you to become familiar with a number of Falkirk’s schools and should also be logged onto your profile.
CPD • Your local authority CPD sessions have been planned for the year Primary – Tues or Thurs Secondary – Tues or Wed • School CPD will be planned by each individual school • Personal CPD should be logged on your GTCS profile and CPD Manager You are also entitled to 2 hours NCCT time per week – please be flexible in your approach to change.

What to do next... • Visit your school • Meet with current Class Teacher and SfLA • Find out when the school is open in the holidays • Ask to look at Active Literacy Packs and any other relevant resources over the holidays • Spend time familiarising yourself with School Website, Twitter Account, GTCS Website
