Component 3: Current projects within recycling
Current projects within recycling 1 • No specific project at national level within recycling • There are some projects supported by donors which are linked with recycling: • Modernization of local services- Supporting municipalities for waste management and recycling-GIZ . • Recycling electrical and electronic equipment- Pilot project in three municipalities supported by Norwegian Government. • Kosovo Private Enterprise Program (KPEP),Supporting local companies for processing and recycling of metals, financed by USAID. • Cardboard Collection Project (CCP) — Pilot Project Initiating Viable Recycling Industry- Financed by Mercy Corps. • Local businesses - waste processing and recycling.
Current projects within recycling 2 Legislation and Strategy • Finalization of Waste Management Strategy, • Finalization of Waste Management Action Plan, • Approving of Eco found law , • Decentralization of waste management competences at local level.
Component 4: Planned projects within recycling
