  1. The Child Safe Kits can be used to: • Add Value to the benefits for Existing groups • Or • Used to generate leads with groups Representing Children • Such As: • Schools • Child Care Centers • Child Advocacy Associations

  2. For Groups representing children The Child Safe Kits are the main focus With the AD&D and Health Service Discount Card added in addition The program is the same, but the focus shifts to the Child Safe Kit, with the AD&D and Health Service Card being secondary.

  3. Schools Target Market: Parents/Guardians of School Children. Goal: To implement the No Cost Child Safe and other Value Added Benefits at the School Level. Recommended Approach: Start at the District Level * For Day Care Centers approach is to start with Director.

  4. Step One: District Level • Send an Introductory Letter • Follow Up with Set Appointment or Drop-by • Meet with District-Superintendent or Communications Director. • This meeting is to educate the District Office on the Child Safe Program and enlist their help at getting the program into the schools. • Through: • Introductory emails to Schools • Or • Principal Packets in school mail • Meet and Sign up Schools Individually

  5. Goal at District Office • To have District Office assist with introductions to each school • To have district office send an email to each school introducing you and the Child Safe Program • Give you a Contact List of Schools, Contact Person to follow up with.

  6. Goal at School Level. • To meet with Principal or Decision Maker to Present Child Safe Program • Implement the NO Cost Program to Parents/Guardians • Arrange to have School Staff meet agents assigned to work with Parents/Guardians

  7. AIL has teamed up with the International Police Association to help ID Children in North America We are doing this at no cost. No cost to the parents or the schools.

  8. As the letter states: For over 50 years we have been committed to working families and to helping protect those families. Today, we are still just as committed to protecting our families and especially our children. As our way of giving back to our communities, we are providing Child Safe Kits at No Cost.

  9. AIL History Chartered in 1924 International Company AM Best Rating

  10. AIL is a insurance company so we are also able to offer some other no cost benefits for the parents/guardians and children.

  11. The Presentation

  12. Health Service Discount Card. In addition, those families returning the cards will receive AT NO COST our Partners Plan; A discount health services card that provides substantial discounts on: Vision Care, Prescriptions, Hearing Care, Chiropractic Care with an optional Dental Discount. Again this is at NO COST for the entire family. The Dental portion is only $24.95 for the year for the entire family. It is getting harder and harder for families to keep benefits and some have lost them altogether. This is our way of, again, helping families to provide the protection they need.

  13. We send a letter home with the children

  14. Enclosed with the letter Explain Card

  15. For All parents returning the card • One of our representatives will contact them to: • Deliver the Child Safe Kits • Health Service Discount Card • Make available on a voluntary basis • Affordable, Permanent, Portable, Supplemental Benefits.

  16. Food Banks AIL is one of the largest contributors to Food Banks In North American Talk about food and food programs

  17. Again, the Child Safe Kit is a free service to all families in the school. It has roughly a $10.00 value- but you do need to understand that it costs American Income money to provide this great tool. We offset this with our supplemental benefits designed to protect families. When we receive the reply cards, our representative will give the family a call and arrange to deliver the Child Safe kit. At that time we will take a few minutes to go over a wonderful family plan and some other benefits being made available to the families on a voluntary basis. If the families choose to participate, fine. If not, that’s OK, too. Many families have taken advantage of other benefits and continue in their commitment to protect their family.

  18. Questions: • Why can’t you just send the kits home with children • AIL is an insurance company who has teamed up with the Police Association to deliver the kits to North American Families. • Because we are an insurance company we are able to offer the AD&D Benefit and Medical Discount Card. • We deliver the benefits, explain how to use them and have them designate their beneficiary. • 1 out of 4 will purchase additional benefits and that is how we are able to offer the benefits at no cost.

  19. Concern: We had a fair or family day and • we had ID kits available then. • If you did it at a fair, did ALL students get to participate? • This way you can be sure to reach all families, • even those that weren’t able to attend the function. • Concern: We had another company provide this already • Was there a cost to it? If so, then I’m sure that not everyone • participated. This is a way to make sure all of your families have • access to this all-important ID Kit • Concern: The Administration has to approve this. • That’s how most school districts operate. • Who would I need to see? • Would you mind giving him/her a call just to verify that you • think this is a good program for the families?

  20. Implementing the Child Safe Program • Sign CH • Obtain Letterhead and Envelope • Prepare Letter for School to Hand out • Response can be returned through mail or dropped off at school – Provide Large Envelope • Envelope should have Secretary Letter attached • Prepare Poster

  21. Greetings! Enclosed are the Child Safe Kit request cards to send home to your parents.
