  1. little bit about Punjab......... Punjab is the one of the states in the northwest part of india.this state is bordered by the Indian states of Himachal Pardesh to the east, Haryana to the south and south east, Rajasthan to the southwest and Pakistan to the west. it is also bounded to the north by Jammu and kashmir.Chandigarh is the capital of this state.

  2. Meaning of word Punjab........ Punjab in Persian meaning: "Land of the fiver rivers", before partition India & Pakistan they contain five rivers (Beas, Ravi, Sutlej, Chenab & Jhelum).  5(Panj)+Aab(water)

  4. Climate There are main three season:- Summer (April to June), when temperature rise as high as 43°C. Monsoon season (July to September), when a majority of rainfall occurs. Winter (December to February), when temperatures fall as low as 4°C

  5. Punjab Industry   Agriculture is the largest industry in Punjab, it is the single provider of wheat to India. Other major industries include the manufacturing of  scientific instruments, electrical goods,finicial services, machine tools, sports goods,tourism,fertilizers,bicycles and the processing of pine oil and sugar. Punjab also has the largest number of Steel Rolling Mill Plants.

  7. PUNJABI CULTURE There is Punjabi language is the main language in Punjab ,some people speak Hindi as well. The culture of the Punjab comprises many elements including music such as bhangra, an extensive religious and non-religious dance tradition, a long history of poetry in the Punjabi language. A number of seasonal and harvest festivals such as Lohri Basant, Baisakhi and Teej, all of which are celebrated in addition to the religious festivals of India.

  8. Harmandar sahib...Amritsar Harmandar sahib is also referred as “ Golden Temple". The meaning of this word is the temple of god . this skih gurdawara located in city of Amritsar punjab.its construction was started in dec,1585 and was completed in August 1604.it has main four entrances that shows the importance of acceptance and openness. This temple is surrounded by a large lake called sarovar which is consist of holy water.
