What is a Migraine • Migraines cause an intense pulsing or throbbing in one area of the head, usually accompanied by nausea, vomiting and extreme. • Preceded by sensory warnings like flashes of light, black spots, or tingling in arms or legs.
Cause of Migraines • Allergies and allergic reactions • Bright lights, loud noises, and certain odors or perfumes • Physical or emotional stress • Changes in sleep patterns or irregular sleep • Smoking or exposure to smoke • Skipping meals or fasting • Alcohol

Also known as acute or abortive treatment, these types of drugs are taken during migraine attacks and are designed to stop symptoms that have already begun. • Preventive medications.
