Law of Inclusions - The intruding rock (Rock A) must have been there first to provide the fragments in the younger rock (Rock B)
Law of Unconformities • A gap in the geological record that is formed by erosion of an area.
Law of Uniformitarianism • the natural processes operating in the past are the same as those that can be observed operating in the present. • "The present is the key to the past."
