1. Film: ‘Scream 4’ written by Kevin Williamson and released in 2011 . Williamson also wrote such movies as Halloween H20: 20 Years Late, Cursed & I Know What You Did Last Summer’. Directed by Wes Craven, who also directed & written movies such as A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Hills Have Eyes & The Last House on the Left The opening of the movie starts in a really odd way, for it is just to girls sitting talking about a scary movie then one girls receives a phone call, she dismisses the call when she can’t make out the voice, so the other goes on talking and explains she got her self a Facebook stalker... …The two girls joke about it until they receive another phone call the voice on the phone says’ you hang up on me I’ll cut through your neck til I feel bones’ the phone is then passed and the other girl gets worried when the voice says ‘ I’m the last person your gonna hear alive’ One of the girls thinks it all a joke while the friend with the stalker is worried and continuously receive messages with instruction until final the stalker sends a message that says I’m not outside I’m right beside you’ then one killer jumps out and stabs the girl and another killer appears and slices the other ones neck.

2. Then it turns out to be the end of a horror movie watched by two other girls. One of these girls starts to strongly critic while her friend really likes the movies . The girl keeps to going on and on getting more and more harsh you can see the annoyance on her friend’s face until she unexpectedly snaps and stabs her in the stomach and tells her to ‘shut the f**k up and watch the movie’... …But then the killer appears throws a body through the window and chases after the girl and finally kills her and the movie title appears. …Which turns out to be the end of another horror movie watched by another two girls, then one of the girls plays a prank on her friend pretending to be the killer from the movie during the phone call her friend sounds like she is being attacked ,the girl believes that this is a return prank an pays no notice when she receives a phone call similar to one in the movies...

3. This film can help with our opening sequence because this film is a very good thriller because it is full of suspense, tension and excitement for there is a killer who nobody knows who they are and the excitement of unravelling the story to find out who they are and finding out why it is they have started killing is what keeps you watch and on the edge of your seat. It can also teach how to play out making characters appear to be suspects because you don’t know who the killer is. It’s common within the movie to leave clues or try to deceive the audience by making people think one person is the murder when really it’s someone else. This sort of thing really keeps the viewer interested because of the whole suspense of who is it? will they be caught? What was there motive? We can also learn the use of attractive women(people) to entertain and deceive a audience, from this movie …the way they use beautyto either make you believe that a character issweet and innocent when really there a psycho killer like Emma Roberts character in the movie they use her in a way that you think as a viewer that’s not the face of a mass murder. This will be really helpful within our piece because in our audience research people said attractive women would improve our film.
