What to do Instead • Play music • Gently rock or walk the baby • Give the baby a pacifier • Ask a Friend to “take over” for a while • Put the baby in the crib and leave the room for a few minutes to cool down • Take the baby for a walk outside • Take the baby for a ride in the car
