  3. Types of Mutations • Deletion- One base is missing The Gene should be ACTGCGT But instead is ACGCGT • Addition- One extra base is added The Gene should be ACTGCGT But instead is ACTGTCGT • Substitution-One base is substituted for another The Gene should be ACTGCGT But instead is ACGGCGT
