Paint the Town Red • AIDS2014, the largest health-related conference in the world is coming to Melbourne in July 2014 • Over 14,000 delegates attending • Over 1,200 international media attending • Melbourne’s role as ‘host city’ is to develop and deliver a city activation program that showcases the best of the city’s art, culture, sport, retail, business, public conversation and education sectors • Over 80 partners currently participating in the program • Estimated economic impact for Melbourne - $80million + • Collaboration between State and Local Governments to bring the conference to Melbourne
