  4. Tests and Assignments • Two tests • Test 1 – 31 August 2011 • Test 2 – 13 October 2011 • Three assignments • Assignment 1 – 15 August 2011 • Assignment 2 – 26 September 2011 • Assignment 3 – 24 October 2011 .

  5. DP and Final Mark Calculation • DP requirements • Attendance of 80% of the pracs/tuts • Class mark = 0.4 x average obtained for assignments + 0.6 x average obtained for tests. • A class mark of at least 40% • Three hour written examination • Final mark = 0.3 x class mark + 0.7 x exam mark .
