  2. Is Alcoholism Heredity? • Yes, alcoholism is heredity because it does run in the family that has a family member in the past that started to drink alcohol.

  3. What is Acholism? • Alcoholism is a chronic disease in which your body becomes dependent on alcohol. • Alcoholism is where you can’t control how much you are drinking or how many days. • Alcoholism can affect your health, job, and home life.

  4. Symptoms of Alcocholism • Craving • Physical Dependence • Loss of Control • Tolerance

  5. The violence of alcohol. • Death • Spousal Abuse • Verbal Abuse • Mental Abuse

  6. Difference in families • Alcoholism Family • Non-Alcoholism Family

  7. How does it affect the Kids? • Kids won’t ever see their parent(s). • It might make them have confused feelings about it. • Sometime the Kids will get hurt by their parent(s).

  8. Here is a story of an Alcoholic mother • An alcoholic mother was threatened when her twins were pulled from her so she took them from social workers • She was 37 when she took her 4 year old twins. • Her name is Tamara Dyson.

  9. The Kids in the story • They were 4 years old. • Their names were Billy Blu and Vixen Rae Francis

  10. What happened to them? • The kids were found in a car. • Their mother and a man was 62 years old. • They were charged of kidnapping them.

  11. The kids in the story • They were given back to the father.

  12. Life with an alcohic • Is not easy for the family that is involved • It leaves a mental and verbal abuse on everyone.

  13. What do most of them drink? • They want to drink liquor instead of beer and wine.

  14. Do you have alcoholism in your family? • REMEMBER THINK BEFORE YOU DO START DRINKING!
