The PowerMax Pro • It has 30 zones; Each zone is identified by a number and a name • It has 4 partitions (optional, can be ignored); each partition can be viewed as a security system by itself • Six arming modes1. Away2. Away Instant3. Home4. Home Instant5. Latchkey6. Bypass • Lights and electrical appliances can be controlled if optional X-10 modules are used.

The PowerMax Pro • Looking after elderly, physically handicapped and infirm individuals: The system can be programmed to monitor activity within the protected area and send out an alert message if the person under surveillance remains still for a predefined period of time (as set by your installer). • Distress calls: Miniature pushbutton transmitters dealt out to specific individuals may be used for sending emergency calls for help. • Disarming under duress: If a user is forcibly compelled to disarm the system, he can use a special code that disarms the system apparently as usual, but sends a silent alarm to the central station

  9. Enrolling a Device • To enroll a device means to link a device to the controller, eg, enroll a wired contact, enroll a wireless sensor, etc • When asked to Delete using the OFF key,Use the Disarm button

  10. During enrolling, you may seea black rectangle; it means the device has been enrolled by someone else.Hit [OFF] key to delete. Black rectangle

  14. Once a device is enrolled, the controller can detect it. • If you have enrolled the magnetic contacts, open the contacts and observe what is displayed on the LCD display, such as, “ Back Door Open” This confirms that the controller is able to detect the contacts – enroll successful
