Goal: To ensure that the contract is performed and the responsibilities of both parties are properly discharged. To achieve this, the primary responsibility of the Department of Housing is to oversee, monitor and provide technical guidance to vendors performing under a contract. Effective contract administration presents a continuing opportunity to minimize or eliminate problems and potential claims and disputes.

4. WHY? The quarterly “Vendor Performance Report” gives the
Housing Department’s contract administrators an
opportunity to provide feedback to the vendors
in a more timely and structured manner than
has occurred in the past. This opens up a line of
communication that is valuable to both the Department
of Housing and its partners in the vendor community.
