Production Schedules • BCTV Team sets the schedule • We have 16 Crew Members • I am the Executive Producer for BCTV • Advanced AVP = Producers and Directors • AVP III = Operators • AVP II = Apprentices (1st Semester) EVERYONE Shares roles on other Member’s Projects as needed!
On The Job Training: Field Production • Advanced AVP Produces and Directs • Responsible for deadlines and training • AVP III Manages and Operates Equipment • Training responsibilities • Opportunities to Produce and Direct • AVP II Apprentices to learn from both • Cross-training • Can be given new roles as approved by teacher
Adobe Certification • Premiere Pro CS 5.0 ACA Certification Test • $50 fee • Opportunity to Certify for After Effects at a later time • Tutoring help for AVP I Students • Looks good on a college application! • Can get you a job!
Grading and Production Schedules • Read Handout and share with your parents • 10% Assessments • Practice Tests, Quizzes, Worksheets • 40% Daily Grades • School Events, PSA’s, Commercials, other projects • 50% Major Grades • Channel 16 Productions • Anchoring, Crew, Board Meetings
Requirements • Based on class level and experience • Graded on how well you do your job • Teamwork makes everyone look better • Show your Bobcat Pride!
Requirements for Advanced AVP • Class Assignments • In class assignments • 3 School Productions per 6 weeks • Outside of class, Produced and Directed by you • 1 Major Production per 6 weeks • Teacher-Approved Projects
Requirements for AVP III • Class Assignments • In class assignments • 3 School Productions per 6 weeks • Outside of class, Recorded by you, (Produced and Directed by you), or teacher assigned projects • 1 Major Production per 6 weeks • Teacher-Approved Projects (Leading or assisting)
Requirements for AVP II • Class Assignments • In class assignments • 3 School Productions per 6 weeks • Worksheets and projects assigned by teacher • 1 Major Production per 6 weeks • Teacher-Approved Projects
Assisting with AVP I Classes • Help with lesson planning set-up • Tutor on Adobe Products (Certification) • Training on equipment • Training for field projects • Students can sign up to help you after school *Slate and Audition: Record Feature for AVP I*

Tutoring and Project Help • Studio Time is on Thursday and Friday before school: 6:30am – 7:15am, and by appointment • Tutoring is available after school from 2:30pm – 3:15pm on Tuesdays or by appointment. • You MUST request a pass from me to attend after school tutoring. • At least once every 6 weeks, the Studio will stay open late to work on projects

Assignment: Slate for Audition • Every on-camera audition will require a Slate • Name, Agency, Role • We will all audition in front of a blue screen • Due Tuesday: Practice your Slate and Your Line: BOBCAT FIGHT NEVER DIES!
