A Key University • The HEBUST is a key university on the field of Science and Engineering in Hebei Province. •The University covers an area of 47.5 square kilometres. •There are 13000 full-time students and 6672 adult students for the time being. • The university has a teaching and administrative staff of 2476,among which there are 1000 professional teachers.

Scientific Research • Including those of state funded for natural science • Including those of “863” program • Including those of the province Plan program • Until now,263 achievements have been acquired • 86 of them won the state, province, ministry prizes respectively

About My Researches • Until now,16 achievements have been acquired. • Four of them won the state, province, ministry prizes respectively. • Three books and 70 papers were published.
The Research in the Near Future • Study on sampling and processing of high frame rate dynamic image • In hardware design - high frame rate CCD are used as the sensor of image. -High speed data transfer with RS-422A have also been designed.
-With the high speed DSP (TMS320C40) and memories as the core of the testing system -The interface of high rate data buffer between computer and the CCD camera has been implemented. -The communication with DMA technology is made of the DSP chip and host computer.
•In software design - Three computer language (assembly, Delphi and Borland C++) -Image processing, control software and display software - To finish the edge detection of image and the digital filtration - Show the moving procedure by the format of AVI and TIF
