What does the DEA Do? investigate violations of federal law dealing with controlled substances, illegal narcotics, and drug abuse.
Education/ Salary • Applicants must possess one year of experience conducting or comparable experience. however some education may be a substitute. Salary DEA Special Agents can expect to earn between $36,870 and $75,025.
Qualifications To qualify to be a DEA/ Special Agent *Applicants must fall between ages of 21 and 35 years of age. *Must be a U.S. Citizen *Must posses valid driver license. *Must pass background investigation and Physical exam. *One year of prior education.
Training/ Benefits • DEA Special Agents will attend a 14 week training academy at the FIB Academy in Quantico, Virginia.
