  15. MA? • NON – MON! • How come? Why use the masculine mon if it’s a feminine word? • As écolebegins with a vowel, you can’t use ma as the 2 vowels would clash! Instead we use the masculine MON une ÉCOLE

  24. That’s right! • It’s the gender or plural of the word you’re referring to that counts and not the person you’re talking about! • Therefore, SON chien can mean either HIS dog or HER dog! • SA mère means either his mum or her mum There’s no separate words for his & her then?!!
