  3. Bilateral cooperation with bordering countries • 8 controls per year (4x in CZ, 4x in D, PL, SK ) • Evaluation of cooperation at the end of each year • - Cooperation with BAG since 2005/2006

Bilateral cooperation with Hungary • History in brief • - In 2010 invitation to „Visegrad 4“ control in Slovakia • - First contact with experts from Hungary • - Result – HU experts discovered many manipulations • At Steering Committee meeting in HU first drafts of cooperation • Agreed schedule for 2011 – 2 exchange weeks in CZ

Results of the 1st control week in May with focus on manipulations • - 2 experts from Hungary • - Over 60 controlled vehicles in 4 days • 2 cases of use of magnets – discovered by simple use of digital compass app, no switches • Bad luck, on the other hand – exchange of many valuable information regarding the interpretation of social legislation, technical checks and cargo securing • Fruitful exchange, both sides agreed to intensify cooperation • CZ experts invited to Hungary at the end of June

  7. Objectives for the 2nd control week • Planned for September • Improve picking of the vehicles to be controlled • Use only control sites with larger variety of traffic • Prepare uniform procedure for control officers in CZ when a manipulation is found • Evaluate and plan exchanges for 2012

Multilateral cooperation with Hungary • - In April, 2nd Regional check, in Hungary • Invitation to CZ for 3rd Regional check, June 8-9 – SK, PL, HU • 2 control sites (1 without experts from HU) • Huge success, not only on professional level, but personal too • Regional checks should be organized more often, priceless experience for experts from every participating country • Good publicity, interest of the media

  9. Night roadside checks 1st bilateral night check, with BAG Success, special checks will be more frequent
