  12. Introducing C2X ’06… A national initiative… • to encourage Awana children and youth • to increase the amount of Scripture memorized; • to lengthen the retention of that Scripture, and • to strengthen obedience to it.

  13. What will we try to do? The object: More Scripture… Learn more verses More deeply…in Increase retention More hearts. Emphasize application How will we measure it? The easy measure: More Awana books completed The real objective: More children with a Biblical worldview PowerUP

  14. Vital Signs Are general indicators of health; • Like blood pressure and pulse, vital signs of an Awana Club give us a general idea of its health

  15. Vital Signs …of an Awana club: • Attendance • Handbook completion • An Awana club that has both healthy attendance and a healthy handbook completion percentage is likely a healthy club.
